From the very first moment that I saw the August- December 2020 Mini Catalogue I just fell in love with the Heartwarming Hugs Suite and knew that I would probably just get the whole thing! I am a huge coffee fan and it was impossible to resist the cute little coffee cups!
The Mini Coffee Carrier comes in a package of 8 and holds 2 of the coffee cups. What I love the most about these cups is that they are not just for show! They are safe for treats and drinks (up to 200°F / 93° C) and are the same size as a short drink at Starbucks. You could put a coffee gift card inside or some hot chocolate and marshmallows! Seriously so cute. Of course, these would also be great for any occasion, like a birthday!
To wrap the carrier I cut 2 pieces of the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper. One at 2" x 12" and one at 2" x 6" to go all the way around. A lovely demonstrator created a template to wrap DSP around the coffee cup as well. Here is a link to that file. Just trace it out on your DSP and cut out.
The Warm Hugs Dies do the rest of the work for you to create the sleeve for your coffee cup. There are 2 different patterns to choose from and then you can also cut out a scalloped detail to layer behind the sleeve. You need to cut 2 sets of each and glue them together. I love the Festive Felt Sheets for the sleeve to give it a fun cozy feel! And it cut out so wonderful with my Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, just one pass through!
For the second cup I wanted to show you an example using the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder and I also made a fun tag for the front of the cup. I'm pretty sure I was able to use every product from the Heartwarming Hugs Suite here! All the coordination nicely thought out for me by Stampin' Up!
Don't forget to make a little tag for the carrier and maybe tuck in a note! I can't wait to give these away this Christmas! How special!
