12 Days of Christmas! Day 5: A Rustic Stampin' Up! Christmas Card

It's hard to believe that we are heading into the last week of November! I spent a little time this weekend decorating and today's card is a little inspired by the Christmas decor I enjoy in my own house. My Christmas tree and a lot of my decor in my living room features the red and black Buffalo Plaid that I love so much. So I just had to get it on a card somehow!

Did you see this patterned paper in the 'Tis the Season Designer Series paper stack? I was instantly drawn to it of course. I wanted to make a card that used this paper, and that would have a more masculine look to it that I could send to some of my family members.

This is another simple card, where I simply layered the Buffalo Plaid paper with the wood grain textured paper that can be found in the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper Stack. The Braided Linen Trim gave me the perfect rustic and natural look that I was going for.

The trees are of course punched out with my favourite Pine Tree Punch. Two of them in Garden Green and one in another of the patterns from the 'Tis the Season DSP. The Merry Christmas is found in the Peace & Joy Stamp Set and was stamped in Cherry Cobbler on Crumb Cake cardstock. I love these cute little stars that are found in the All the Trimmings Embellishment Pack and they were the perfect addition to this card!

If you would like any of these products to make your own projects, I have a list of everything I used below. You can just click an image and it will take you right to my shopping page. When you shop with me, the next month I will send you a special thank you in the mail!

Thanks for hanging out with me today, I'll be back tomorrow with another fun Christmas project for you!
