For this week's projects, I wanted to share a couple of my favourite go-to gift card holder ideas. (Video replay is below). It's quite easy to create the base for the card and then you can decorate them however you like. These are made with the really fun Merry, Bright & Bold Designer Series Paper, which has patterns perfect for Christmas and some that would be great for any occasion at all!
This first card creates a cute little pocket. You could use it as a card or see how I turned the inside piece into another hidden pocket to tuck in a gift card! I've used this as a treat holder too. It would be fun to put in a little packet of hot chocolate or tea. The Merriest Trees Bundle has been so much fun to play with this year, I love the big tree on these cards. Don't forget to add a little bit of sparkle, here I used the More Dazzle Specialty Paper.
This second card includes only one fold to create a pocket for your gift card. It's just a simple detail, but one that will make the recipient feel extra special! Don't forget to watch the replay below to get step by step instructions.
