I love when Easter is later in April, I feel like I actually have the time to get creative and think about some fun crafty projects I can make. So, this week on my YouTube Live (replay is linked below), I made 2 different projects to help spark your own creativity.
The first one is a mini Easter basket that is sized just right for one of those cute mini flower pots or a bag of candy. The second is a bit larger and I think would look great filled with chocolate eggs!😄 Both of them would make great gifts or even table favours for your Easter dinner or just a Spring gathering.
Mini Easter Basket
I was picturing these cute little pots when I designed this mini basket - so it's just the right size!
I am in love with this Colour Combo for Easter: Crumb Cake, Crushed Curry & Pretty in Pink.
This project is easy to customize to an Easter or Springtime stamp set that you already own. I love daisies, so that's what I used as the focal point on my basket.
I used a ribbon for the handle, but more cardstock would work as well.
Easter Treat Box
I saw a fun gift box where there was a whole row of chocolate Easter eggs, so that is what I was sizing this fun box for. It would also be great for a little gift and/or gift card.
To fill the box you could buy shredded paper, or make your own with some scraps you may or may not have lying around in your craft room.
Again, one you have the box made, it will be easy to customize it to your own style and products. I just love this bunny from the 'Playing in the Rain' stamp set and pull him out every Spring!
