This week's YouTube projects were all about plaid! I love the pretty plaid patterns in their soft colours that are in Stampin' Up!'s 'Timeless Plaid' DSP. I actually started off by making a set of matching cards and then decided that they needed a matching box to go in! So be sure to find the replay of the YouTube video below to learn how to make the box and the coordinating set of 4 cards.
Card Set Gift Box
This box is kind of shaped like a book and fits the 4 cards and envelopes inside.
When making a gift set make sure to keep similar elements in each of the cards.
For my plaid theme I used the 'Timeless Plaid' DSP as well as the 'Forever Plaid' 3D Embossing Folder.
Each card also features Linen Thread and the awesome Adhesive-Backed Textured Dots.
Cards
Each card has a simple layout that will be easy to copy in these same products or with your favourite paper and stamp set of the moment.
It's also nice to have a stamp set that has lots of sentiments so you can mix & match, but still have the same font. I've used the 'Memorable Blooms' Stamp Set here.
I love the variety of colours that are in this DSP. Which colour combo is your favourite? I think I love the first one with Lost Lagoon, Old Olive and Crumb Cake.
