I had a lot of fun with the projects that I shared on my Facebook Live this week. With Halloween coming up, I thought that it would be fun to do something with a subtle Harry Potter theme, using the colours of Gryffindor as my inspiration!
I've always loved these little Ferrero Rocher treat packages, they are simple to make and yet so impressive at the same time! It would be easy enough to change the design up a bit too, to make it perfect for whatever occasion you are celebrating. If you are into the Harry Potter theme, you could look on Pinterest for a wing template and attach wings to the Ferrero Rocher to make your own Golden Snitch!
Once I made the treat packaging, I felt like it needed a matching card! The basics of the card are pretty simple, but the fun is in the word "magic". I cut out the word in gold foil using the Playful Alphabet Dies. Then keeping the negative instead of the cut out letters, I attached the gold foil to some Black Glitter Paper to create a little bit of wow on the card. I should have made this a couple years ago when my daughter had a Harry Potter themed birthday!
