Saturday Blog Hop: Favourite 2024 Mini Catalogue Bundle

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! For this week's theme we were to choose our favourite bundle from the Sept-Dec 2024 Mini Catalogue that was not Christmas related. So, in my opinion the obvious winner is the 'More Than Autumn' Bundle! I am having so much fun creating a whole bunch of different projects with it. Earlier this week, I shared more on the coffee, pie and hot chocolate themes of the bundle, so I thought that it would fun to make a card featuring the donuts!

Stampin' Up! Two Tone Cardstock Christmas Card Idea
Materials Used

This stamp set lives up to its name and will take you well beyond the fall season!:

  • Bundle: More Than Autumn

  • Colour Combo: Pretty in Pink, Pecan Pie & White/Ivory.

  • Special Tools: Stampin' Blends. Always so much fun to colour with!

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Card Base:

    1. Cut Thick Basic White Cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score in half at 4 1/4".

    2. Cut a 5" x 3 3/4" piece of DSP. I chose this fun coffee pattern from the 'A Little Latte DSP'.

  2. Donuts (or Doughnuts??)🍩:

    1. Stamp 3 donuts in Memento Tuxedo Black.

    2. Colour in with your Stampin' Blends. I used: Pretty in Pink, Pecan Pie & Ivory.

    3. Cut out with the coordinating die and add to card front with dimensionals.

  3. Sentiment:

    1. Heat emboss 'doughnuts' in white embossing powder on Early Espresso Cardstock and fussy cut out.

    2. Combine this with a coordinating sentiment. I chose 'you had me at'. I stamped it in Early Espresso and added a bit of colour to the cardstock with a Blending Brush.

    3. Add both onto card with dimensionals.

Now you have a great card you can use for any occasion! Time to go get a donut to have with my coffee!☕️🍩
