Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! I thought this week's theme was a lot of fun as we were to go "Over the Top" and add in a few extras to our cards. I loved the permission to go all in with layers!
To give a soft background to the card, I started by blending Petunia Pop onto Basic White cardstock with a blending brush. I added a strip of Petunia Pop DSP (from the 2024-2026 In Color paper) that was 4" x 2" and layered it on a 4" x 2 1/4" piece of Lemon Lolly cardstock. This was all added onto a Misty Moonlight card base.
Now comes all the details! Using the Cheerful Daisies Stamp Set & Dies, I stamped 1 large and 1 small flower in Petunia Pop & Lemon Lolly. I stamped another large flower in Lemon Lolly & black.
Tucked in behind the flowers are 3 greenery pieces in Shy Shamrock. The sentiment was heat set in white on Petunia Pop and cut out with the label die from the Cheerful Daisies Dies.
To add in those few extras, there was Lemon Lolly twine and Shy Shamrock gems added in to complete the look! The trickiest part of this card was getting the colour combination just right, but I think it turned out pretty good!
