Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! This week we have more fun Valentine's themed projects for you, this time featuring animals. Materials Used
These were the main inspiration for my card:
DSP: Mixed Media Florals DSP. The black & white patterns are great to mix with anything!
Colour Combo: Real Red, Lemon Lolly, Black & White
Stamp Set: 'Bee My Valentine'.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Card Base:
Cut Thick Basic White cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Score in half at 4 1/4".
Cut one pattern of DSP to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Add a little Lemon Lolly to the DSP using a Blending Brush.
Layer a 4 1/4" x 3" piece of coordinating DSP on a 4 1/4" x 3 1/2" piece of Real Red and then add to the centre of the card.
Sentiment:
Stamp sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black on a 4 1/4" x 1/2" strip of Basic White. You can also add a little Lemon Lolly to this piece with the Blending Brush again. Add to card with Stampin' SEAL.
Decorative Elements:
Stamp and punch out your bee. I stamped 2 sets of wings and added a little Pool Party with a Blending Brush for a bit of colour. Add the bee to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals.
You can add gems here, or I've punched out 3 hearts from the 'Bee Builder Punch' in Real Red.
This little bee is the cutest and this card would be great for anyone this Valentine's Day!❤️
