Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! I was excited for our theme this week as we could create with our favourite Christmas themed bundle from the current Mini Catalogue. There was actually a lot to choose from, but in the end there has not been a bundle I've used more than the Reindeer Fun Bundle!🦌 There are just so many great Christmas shapes in the die set that I've been able to use it on so many different projects.
For this card I wanted to try colouring the reindeer as I hadn't even tried that yet. The image of the mother and baby reindeer is just so sweet!
Materials Used
These are some of the main products I used to make this card:
Bundle: Reindeer Fun (Item 164044)
Colour Combo: Pool Party, Garden Green, Real Red & White
Stampin' Blends: Pecan Pie (Item 161674)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Card Base:
Cut Pool Party Cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Score in half at 4 1/4".
Cut the snowflake pattern from the Snowy Scenes DSP to 4" x 5 1/4" and add to card front.
Cut Basic White Cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4" and then cut out the greenery scene using the Reindeer Fun Dies. Layer this on top of the DSP using Stampin' Dimensionals.
Details:
Stamp reindeer image in Memento Tuxedo Black and colour with the Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends. Add to card with dimensionals.
Cut out 2 Christmas light strands, one in Garden Green and one in Real Red. Layer them up together and add to card.
Heat emboss sentiment in white on Real Red Cardstock and cut out any die. (I used the Nested Essentials Dies). Add to card.
Have fun with embellishments! I tied a bow with the Real Red & White Baker's Twine and added it with a glue dot. Then sprinkled in a few of the Adhesive-Backed Peppermints.
It was fun to use this bundle in a way that I haven't tried yet. There are really so many ways that you can use it and get creative!
