Saturday Blog Hop: Halloween Time

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! We have another fun week of Halloween projects for you! I'm still loving the Halloween Spells Designer Series Paper, there are so many great patterns and colours to choose from to create fun projects. This time I have a mini pocket card that you could tuck a note into with a gift card or you could probably put a chocolate bar in there too!

Materials Used

Here are the main items I used today:

• Paper: Halloween Spells DSP (Item 166493)

• Colour Combo: Gorgeous Grape, Pumpkin Pie & Pool Party

• Dies: Mini Alphabet Dies (Item 162934)

  
  

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Pocket Base:

   1. Cut Gorgeous Grape Cardstock to 4 1/2" x 9".

   2. Score 1/2" down each side.

   3. Then score in half at 4 1/2".

   4. Cut off the back 2 flaps.

   5. Put adhesive (Tear & Tape or Liquid Glue) on the remaining 2 tabs and seal up your pocket.

   6. Punch out a partial circle on top so it's easier to pull out the inside piece.

2. Pocket Front:

   1. Cut 2 coordinating pieces of DSP to 3" x 3 3/4".

   2. Adhere both to pocket front at an angle.

   3. Cut out 'Spooky' in Basic Black and add it onto a 3" x 3/4" piece of DSP.

   4. Stamp 'happy' & 'season' in black on Basic White. Colour over words with Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends.

   5. Add all words on with dimensionals.

3. Inside:

   1. Cut a 3 1/4" x 3 1/2" piece of Pool Party Cardstock.

   2. Punch out a 2 3/8" circle in Pumpkin Pie Cardstock. Fold in half and add to top of Pool Party.

   3. Cut DSP to 3" x 4 1/2". Fold in half at 2 1/4". Fold over bottom of Pool Party, only adhering on the sides to create little pockets.

Add in a little note and tuck in a gift card to give to your kiddo or a friend!
