Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! This week's theme is a fun one! Our challenge was to use all 5 of the brand new 2024-2026 In Colors on one card. This year this task is easy because all the colours look so good together. I've used the Online Exclusive bundle, Simply Sparkling, to play with this week.
The background for the card is a piece of the 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper in Summer Splash. I thought that the dot pattern would be perfect for the pop can! I then coloured the pop can to match, using my Summer Splash and Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.
To help the can "pop" off the page, I used dimensionals to put it on a 2 3/4" x 3 3/4" piece of Basic White cardstock that is matted on a 2 7/8" x 3 7/8" piece of Shy Shamrock cardstock.
To bring in all the colours, I stamped the straw in Shy Shamrock, the cherries in Petunia Pop, the peach in Peach Pie and the strawberry in Pretty in Pink.
The sentiment was heat embossed in white on Basic Black cardstock and then fussy cut out. I still think this bundle is just the cutest and with these colours, it will make the perfect card to give to someone this summer!
