Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! Our theme for this week is to create a One Layer Card. You would think this would make it easier to come up with a design, but I actually find it harder!😄. To help me out, I reached for my new favourite stamp set, Thankful Garden.

Materials Used
These were the main inspiration for my card:
Stamp Set:Â It helps to have a large image to create a simple card, so both the flowers in the 'Thankful Garden' Stamp Set are perfect.
Colour Combo: Petal Pink and Pretty in Pink for a soft spring feel.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Card Base:
Cut Thick Basic White cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Score in half at 4 1/4".
Card Front:
Cut Basic White cardstock to 4" x 5 1/4".
Using Blending Brushes, add colour to cardstock.
I started with Pretty in Pink on the lower half and then blended it with Petal Pink on the top. I focused the saturation on the middle of the card, leaving the top and bottom edges white.
Stamp the hydrangea image in Grey Granite.
Stamp sentiment in Memento Tuxedo Black just to help it pop off the flower a bit.
And that's it!
