Saturday Blog Hop: Paper Perfection 2024

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! The fun with the new catalogue continues this week as our theme was to choose our favourite new designer series paper as our card inspiration. For me, this catalogue has such an amazing choice of DSP and I could have really gone with any of them!

I decided in the end to use the To Market Designer Series Paper as I've got gardening on the brain and I just think this paper is so fun!

Stampin' Up! To Market Suite & DSP

The card base is Crumb Cake and then I matted 2 different patterns of the DSP for the base of the card. The first layer is cut to 4" x 5 1/4" and then the polka dots are 3 3/4" x 5". I think one of the reasons why I love this paper so much is that is quite different than anything we've had for awhile. I'm surprised by how much I like the Pumpkin Pie and Blackberry Bliss in this paper!

To create the focal point for the card, it's all about the DSP there too! There are the fun veggie images to cut out, but I also love the pattern with the flower bundles and the cute bags. I fussy cut out 3 sets of flowers and a bag and put them together on the card.

The sentiment was heat embossed in white on Blackberry Bliss and punched out with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch.

The embellishments are a part of the suite too, called Transparent Adhesive-Backed Dots. The linen thread I coloured with my Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends. I just learned you could do that!
