Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! We've got some more fun cards for you this week as we create ones that feature a Pop Up Surprise. This was a great way to make a unique card and try something new. I hope you'll try this too!
Materials Used
To make this card, I used a few simple products:
Ephemera Packs: No stamp set! Just the fun Something for Everything Pack combined with the Saying Something Pack.
Colour Combo: Bubble Bath, Petunia Pop & Blue
Embossing Folder: Fun Patterns (a 2 pack Online Exclusive)
Step-by-Step Instructions
Prepare the Card Base: Cut Thick Basic White to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". Score at 4 1/4".
Card Front: Emboss a 4" x 5 1/4" piece of Bubble Bath with the Fun Patterns Folder. You'll have to run it through twice. Cut a 22" piece of Petunia Pop ribbon, wrap it around card and tie to the right. Cut a 3 3/4" x 4" piece of DSP (I used Country Woods) and attach to card with Dimensionals.
Decorate: Choose a variety of Ephemera and decorate the card front. Look for pieces that use the same colours.
Inside: Cut a 8" x 4" piece of Bubble Bath Cardstock and score it in half. Adhere to inside of card. Cut a 8" x 1 1/2" piece of DSP and score every 2". Fold this back and forth and adhere the 2 outside sections to the card, leaving the middle to pop up!
Final Touches: Choose more cute Ephemera to add to the theme of the card and include a couple matching sentiments too!
