Saturday Blog Hop: Pretty Fall Colours

Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! We are fully in the Fall Season now and our theme this week was to create with fall colours. I chose to focus on the colour Copper. I really love using copper paper, details and embossing powder in my fall themed cards, it's just so pretty!

Materials Used

There are lots of beautiful products that Stampin' Up! has to help you in your fall crafting:

• Paper: Oxidized Copper Specialty Designer Series Paper

• Colour Combo: Copper Clay, Pretty Peacock, Pool Party & Copper

• Special Tools: Changing Leaves Dies

  
  

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Card Base:

   1. Cut Thick Basic White Cardstock to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" and score in half at 4 1/4".

   2. Cut Copper Clay Cardstock to 4 1/8" x 5 3/8"

   3. Cut Copper/Pretty Peacock DSP to 4" x 5 1/4".

2. Leaves:

   1. The leaves come from the Changing Leaves Bundle. Using the Hybrid Embossing Folder, I cut out the leaves in Pretty Peacock and Pool Party and used 2 of them on the card. TIP: Save the rest and use on a future card!

   2. Cut out the detailed leaves from the same bundle from the Oxidized Copper DSP.

   3. Add these to the card front with adhesive and add a 5" piece of Pretty Peacock & Gold Ribbon on top.

3. Sentiment:

   1. Heat emboss your favourite fall sentiment in Copper on Pool Party. My sentiment comes from the Layering Leaves Stamp Set.

   2. Cut out with the Nested Essentials Dies and add to card with Stampin' Dimensionals.

This card would be perfect for any occasion this time of year!
