Hello! Thanks for joining us on our Create with Stamping Friends Saturday Blog Hop! This month we are going to use movie titles as our inspiration for a colour themed card. To start with, we are going with the colour red. I was inspired by the super cute cards that were in last month's Paper Pumpkin kit and thought that I would make a cherry card!
I first created the background by randomly stamping the cherries from the Simply Sparkling Stamp Set. Then it was time to settle in for some colouring! Using the Real Red & Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends, I coloured in the cherries. Then I filled in the background with Pool Party. Once I was done, I matted it on Basic Black & Poppy Parade.
The sentiment comes from the Ice Cream Swirl Stamp Set and was heat embossed in white on Basic Black, then punched out with the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch. To add a little red, I also coloured the embossed words with the Real Red Blends. I put it on this cute strip from the Friends for Life Dies. To embellish, I added another set of cherries, some Sparkle Gems and white twine that I coloured with the blends again! So many ways you can customize your card with Stampin' Blends.
