Have you ever just grabbed a few of your favourite colours and products and see what kind of creativity follows? For this week's projects, I was going to make a set of gift tags, but once I got going, it evolved into a card and a treat bag too! My inspiration this week was the Christmas Labels Bundle (love!đ) and one of my favourite Christmas colour combos; Pool Party, Petal Pink and Real Red.

Tags
The tags were a lot of fun to create. The first one is a traditional tag shape, using a die from the Merriest Trees Dies. My starting point for creating the tag was the candy cane paper from the Snowy Scenes DSP. Then I layered up the sentiment from the Christmas Labels Bundle and finished off with the super cute Pool Party PomPom Ribbon.
For the second tag, I wanted to create one that would open up. All you need to do is fold up a piece of cardstock and then using your die to cut out the shape, be sure to leave the top of the die hanging off the top. Then you can add on a front and you have a cute tag you can write inside of!
Card
This Christmas card was kept pretty simple and follows the same design ideas as the gift tags. The sentiment was really my focus and I just wanted to create a cute backdrop for it! I didn't want it to look too busy with 2 different patterns of DSP, so to simplify I just used some Basic White cardstock, embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder.
It would be easy to take this layout and change it up to your own favourite paper or Christmas colours.
Treat Packaging
This bag is actually quite simple too! All you need is a piece of your favourite DSP to fold up! (You can get all the dimensions in the video replay below). It technically isn't really a bag since it is open on the sides. But, it serves as a cute package for what you can put inside. I was imagining putting some Christmas treats inside a little cello bag and tucking it in the bag. You could add a little Tear & Tape on the bottom so it stays in place.
This tag combines all the same elements I used on the other projects, tying everything together. I love how all these colours and patterns look together!
