Simple Stampin' Up! Christmas Gift Box

For today's project I learned how to make something new, which is one of the things that I love about doing Stampin' Up!. There is always a new product or technique to try out for yourself! I saw this cute gift box and just knew that I wanted to make one and now I'm trying to think of a reason to make a whole bunch of them!

I decided to build off this fun colour scheme that I fell in love with in November's Paper Pumpkin. I love the way the Mint Macaron, Poppy Parade and Blushing Bride play off of each other.

The dimensions for this box are fairly simple and you can watch the recorded Facebook Live video here to see how it all comes together!

Dimensions:

- Cardstock base: 12" x 12", scored at 4" from each side.

- DSP lid: 6" x 6", scored at slightly less than 1" from each side.

The tag for this box used the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set and matching ornament punches, which I love. The dot pattern from the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder paired with the fabulous Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon is just so much fun!

The first box I made was with the poinsettia patterned paper that can be found in the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper. It's always fun to take the same project and have it take on 2 completely different looks based on the paper that you use.

I hope that you enjoyed learning how to make this cute and simple gift box as much as I did and I would love to see how yours turned out! Anyone can join my Facebook Group for some crafty fun and share your own creations to inspire others as well. All the products that I used today are listed below.
